Dr Rohit Khurana has mentored many cardiologists in Singapore and ASEAN and proctored numerous workshops in regional hospitals, assisting in complex coronary angioplasty. In 2011, he pioneered renal denervation as a novel procedure to treat resistant hypertension in Singapore and was invited to proctor the first renal denervation procedures in Brunei and Vietnam.

Dr Rohit Khurana has won Young Investigator awards and has received the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship which funded 2 years of his research at Dartmouth College in the United States. He has over 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals and continues to be a regularly invited faculty member at many national and international meetings. He contributes time as a member of the research committee for the Singapore Heart Foundation.
