After graduating from medical school at the National University of Singapore in 1986 and obtaining her specialist degree in Ophthalmology in 1993, Dr Fong Kee Siew went for her sub-specialty training in diseases of the orbit, eyelid and tear drainage system at the Sydney Eye Hospital in Australia on a scholarship from the Singapore Government.
