Dr G. S. Devan was trained at National University of Singapore for my basic medical training and underwent post graduate psychiatric training at the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1983 where he obtained my Membership to the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1983. Dr Devan worked at the Institute of Mental Health, Singapore for many years, with positions ranging from specialist psychiatrist, Head of Forensic Psychiatry, Head of psychotherapy and Senior Consultant in Addictions.

Dr Devan is trained in General Psychiatry, Forensic psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Group Therapy. He was trained at the famous Menninger Clinic at Topeka, Kansas, USA in 1990 in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
