Dr Daniel Tan Yat Harn is a radiation oncologist currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He started his career as a radiation oncologist after graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2002.

Dr Tan trained at international medical centres with a focus on neuro-oncology. This included proton therapy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Roberts Proton Therapy Centre, USA; spine radiosurgery at Princess Margaret Hospital and Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto; and advanced radiation technologies at Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital in Japan.

Dr Tan was the national project coordinator of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) initiative to train and develop specialists in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), an advanced radiation technique, in the Asia-Pacific region.

 He was the organising chairman of the inaugural Radiology Asia 2015, a regional radiology meeting held in conjunction with the Singapore Radiological Society’s 24th Annual Scientific Meeting. He has frequently been invited to lecture on these subjects at regional meetings such as the Philippines Radiation Oncology Society Annual Meeting, the Annual Scientific Congress of the Malaysian Oncological Society, the Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology Asia Pacific Conference.

Dr Tan helms the clinical unit of Asian American Radiation Oncology (AARO), the radiotherapy and oncology division of Asian American Medical Group. In collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC), AARO manages and provides clinical supervision for radiation oncology units in Asia, bringing cutting-edge radiation technologies to developing regions.

Dr Tan is currently pursuing his MBA in Healthcare Management at NUS because he believes that good medicine depends on good management.

Dr. Ooi Wei Seong has over 15 years of practicing experience as a medical oncologist in Ireland, Canada, and Singapore. He completed his MB BCh BAO BA (Honours) from Trinity College Dublin in 1999 and is accredited with the MRCP (UK) and FAMS (Singapore). He started his oncology training at St Vincent’s University Hospital in Dublin after that and later spent three years at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada as a clinical fellow in oncology. He then returned to Singapore and obtained his specialist accreditation in medical oncology, before practicing at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

On top of his clinical experience in medical oncology, Dr. Ooi Wei Seong has special interest in breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and head & neck cancers. He has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications on medical oncology, was involved in multiple investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical-led clinical trials, and frequently attends international conferences and meetings on cancer. Dr. Ooi Wei Seong has also presented his research on bone health and mechanisms of bone metastases in cancer patients at these events. In addition, he enjoys giving public talks on cancer risks, screening, and treatment both locally and overseas.

Dr. Ooi Wei Seong was also Clinical Tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, teaching junior doctors, nurses, Duke-NUS students, and elective fellows. He is married with a daughter, and enjoys cycling and good food with his family in his spare time.

Dr Chia Yin Nin, currently is the head of the Gynae Cancer Unit , KK Women's and Children's Hospital. She practices as a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist as well as a Certified Gynaecological Oncologist with the Department of Gynaecological Oncology and at the KK Gynaecological Cancer Centre. Besides general gynaecology, her area of subspecialisation is gynaecological cancers in which she is a Certified Gynaecologic Oncologist with RANZCOG.

She obtained her MBBS from National University of Singapore with a distinction in O&G. She was awarded with the Hoops Medal as well as the Singapore Medical Association Bronze Medal for outstanding academic achievements. Subsequently she obtained her MRCOG from the Royal College of O&G, London and also a Diploma in Gynaecology Oncology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of O&G.

Besides being the Vice President of the Society for Cervical Cytology and Pathology of Singapore, she is also a Co-Director of Pelvic & Peritoneal Group of National Cancer Centre.

In her medical career, she has been awarded the SGH young researcher award in year 2000, HMDP award in year 2005.

Dr Tham Kok Fun is an obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) specialist currently practicing in Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Dr Tham’s subspecialty is in gynaecological oncology.

Dr Tham received his university fellowship for the official 2-year subspecialist course in gynaecologic oncology, organised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital in London and successfully obtained certification as a subspecialist in oncology in 1992.

Dr Tham Kok Fun was an associate professor and senior consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology, and head of the Division of Gynaecologic Oncology at the National University Hospital from 1994 to 2001 before he went into private practice. He also held the appointment of Chairman of the Gynaecologic Oncology Subcommittee, University Cancer Program from 2000 to 2001.
