Dr Lim ZiYi received his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh, UK and subsequently underwent specialist training in haemato-oncology at Kings Cross Hospital, London.  He is a specialist in haemato-oncology and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.

Dr Lim worked at Kings College Hospital for 9 years during which he helped develop the department into one of the largest allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplant centres in Europe.  He has extensive experience in various forms of allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (including umbilical cord blood and haplo-identical transplantation) and has personally overseen the management of more than 300 bone marrow transplants since 2006.

At Parkway Cancer Centre, Dr Lim uses state of the art diagnostic tests together with novel treatment protocols to develop personalized treatment strategies for his patients.  He has a specialist interest in the use of combined modality therapy using targeted therapeutic agents and cellular therapy for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory haematological malignancies.

Dr Lim Hwee Yong is a medical oncologist practising at Novena Cancer Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, where he provides specialised and personalised care for cancer patients.

Dr Lim is also a visiting consultant medical oncologist at National Cancer Centre Singapore. He received his medical doctor degree from University College Dublin, National University of Ireland. He did his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii and Hematology and Medical Oncology training at Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah. Dr. Lim currently hold the American Board Certification for Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. Upon return to Singapore in 2010, Dr. Lim joins the National Cancer Centre Singapore as a consultant medical oncologist and was a visiting oncologist to the Changi General Hospital, Singapore. He leads and participates actively in various important research involving various gastro-intestinal and hepato-biliary cancers as well as neuroendocrine tumour research. He was part of the peptide receptor radionuclide therapy workgroup that helped establish this new form of treatment for neuroendocrine tumours in Singapore. While in National Cancer Centre Singapore, he chairs the blood transfusion committee and is a member of the clinical trials steering committee. He was also the principle investigator of multiple research projects including multiple projects that was awarded the prestigious National Medical Research Council of Singapore grant funding.

Dr. Lim is actively involved in the education of doctors, medical students and nurses. He is a member of the Medical Oncology Residency Advisory Board that review and advise on medical oncology training structure and serve as examiner for medical oncologist trainee exit exams. He has published in international journals, authored book chapter and serve as an editor for the book Neuroendocrine Tumours. He teaches medical students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Duke-National University of Singapore, as well as oncology and palliative care nurses.

Dr. Lim is the President of the Singapore Society of Oncology from 2012 to 2013. He is a founding member of the Singapore Hepatopancreatobiliary Association. Dr Freddy Teo Cheng Peng is a Haematologist practicing at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Dr Teo Cheng Peng was awarded the Public Service Commission Scholarship by the Singapore Government to study Medicine at the National University of Singapore, where he completed his MBBS and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 1987. Under another scholarship, Dr Teo Cheng Peng received his advanced training at Royal Marsden Hospital, the leading Cancer Centre in the United Kingdom. His area of interest is in working with stem cells in the fields of haematology and medical oncology.

Upon his return to Singapore, Dr Freddy Teo Cheng Peng started the Bone Marrow and Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant program at the National University Hospital. After a successful implementation of the clinical program, he continued his career in Gleneagles Hospital.  He was one of the pioneers in starting an autologous stem cell bank in Singapore.

Dr Tan Yew Oo is a specialist in medical oncology and part of the Singapore Oncology Consultants Group of medical oncologists. Prior to private practice, he was part of the teaching Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and had held appointments as Chief of Medicine and Head of Department of Medicine as well as Division of Hematology-Oncology (1988), Professor of Medicine (1991) at the National University Hospital (NUH). 

Being the first medical oncologist in Singapore, he had helped set up the specialty at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and NUH.  He also held many positions in the NUS, Ministry of Health and professional bodies during his tenure with the university.Dr Tan Yew Oo is one of Asia’s foremost oncologists. He is the mentor and teacher to many doctors including many prominent medical oncologists in Singapore.

 Although Dr Tan resigned from university to go into private practice, he remained active in medical education and postgraduate training and served in the Specialist Training Committee of Hematology, Medical Oncology, Specialist Accreditation Board of Ministry of Health, the Board of Directors of Singapore Health Services (Singhealth) Pte Ltd and currently in Eastern Health Alliance. Recently, he served as a member of the Singapore Medical Council Review Committee.

 After graduating with MBBS from NUS (1971), he proceeded to the United States for his residency in Internal Medicine and later fellowship in Hematology and continued his fellowship in Medical Oncology in Canada. He was certified as Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology and held specialist certification from the Royal of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Hematology.
