Dr Daniel Tan Yat Harn is a radiation oncologist currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He started his career as a radiation oncologist after graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2002.

Dr Tan trained at international medical centres with a focus on neuro-oncology. This included proton therapy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Roberts Proton Therapy Centre, USA; spine radiosurgery at Princess Margaret Hospital and Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto; and advanced radiation technologies at Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital in Japan.

 He was the organising chairman of the inaugural Radiology Asia 2015, a regional radiology meeting held in conjunction with the Singapore Radiological Society’s 24th Annual Scientific Meeting. He has frequently been invited to lecture on these subjects at regional meetings such as the Philippines Radiation Oncology Society Annual Meeting, the Annual Scientific Congress of the Malaysian Oncological Society, the Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology Asia Pacific Conference.

Dr Tan helms the clinical unit of Asian American Radiation Oncology (AARO), the radiotherapy and oncology division of Asian American Medical Group. In collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC), AARO manages and provides clinical supervision for radiation oncology units in Asia, bringing cutting-edge radiation technologies to developing regions.

Dr Karmen Wong is a Medical Oncologist at Singapore Oncology Consultants in Gleneagles Medical Centre, Mount Alvernia Medical Centre and Farrer Park Medical Centre.

She completed her MBBS in 1986 at the University of Adelaide, Australia, MRCP (Int Med) in 1990 at the Royal College of Physicians, UK and MMed (Int Med) in 1990 at the National University of Singapore.

Dr Karmen Wong is regarded as one of Asia’s foremost oncologists with close to 20 years of clinical practice. She pioneered the first multi-disciplinary breast cancer treatment in Singapore some 15 years ago. This involved establishing a platform for treatment in other cancers with different disciplines of doctors. Dr Karmen Wong also initiated the bone marrow transplant programme in solid tumour in Singapore in 1997. She spearheaded the multi-disciplinary tumour board and Breast Cancer Clinic in Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Karmen Wong presented the 1st Asian study in attitudes of cancer treatment among Asian patients in the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 1999. She has also written peer review articles and published chapters in textbooks. Dr Wong is also on various committees, including the Singapore Oncology Society, National Council of Cancer Service and the Singapore Breast Cancer Workshop. Dr Whang Hwee Yong is a consultant medical oncologist with Singapore Oncology Consultants. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine / Medical Oncology and has been a member of the American Association of Cancer Research and American Society of Clinical Oncology since 1977.

Dr Lo obtained her medical degree at Sheffield Medical School, England. After working at The Royal Hallamshire Teaching Hospital for 3 years, she moved to London for the rest of her post-graduate training. Dr. Lo became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, London, in 1997. She performed her specialist training in oncology at the world famous cancer centre, The Royal Marsden Hospital, London, and obtained her certificate of completion of specialist training in medical oncology in 2006. Dr. Lo was awarded the prestigious Sabah State Government Scholarship from 1989-1993 and Medical Defence Union Elective Bursary in 1991.

Dr Lo joined the National Cancer Centre Singapore as a consultant in 2008, and became a senior consultant in 2011. She is trained in the management of most solid tumours and has a special interest in breast cancer and gastro-intestinal cancer. She is currently a visiting consultant at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Dr Lo is a member of the American Society of Oncology and Singapore Society of Oncology. Dr Kho graduated from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK (MBBS, 1995) and worked at National University Hospital, Singapore before continuing her specialist postgraduate training in medical oncology at Sydney Cancer Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. Dr Tay Miah Hiang was a Consultant Oncologist at the National Cancer Centre (NCC) before he left for private practice at OncoCare Cancer Centre. During his tenure at NCC, he had won numerous awards for his excellence service.

Besides attending to cancer patients, Dr Tay is actively doing clinical and translational research in Genitourinary and other cancers. His research work has been published in both local and international journals including Urology, Cancer and Annals of Oncology.

Dr Edward Yang Tuck Loong is a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Parkway Cancer Centre in Gleneagles Hospital. He has been with Gleneagles Radiation Oncology Centre since 2001.

Dr Lim Hwee Yong is a medical oncologist practising at Novena Cancer Centre, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, where he provides specialised and personalised care for cancer patients.

Dr Lim is also a visiting consultant medical oncologist at National Cancer Centre Singapore. He received his medical doctor degree from University College Dublin, National University of Ireland. He did his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii and Hematology and Medical Oncology training at Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah. ​​Dr Hsieh is specialized in the treatment of various types of cancers and is active in developing novel cancer diagnostics and molecularly targeted anti-cancer treatments. With a research interest in molecularly targeted cancer therapies, immunotherapy and molecular diagnostics, he has led a number of international studies involving many centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, the Philippines, and the United States to examine novel treatments and diagnostic tests for Nasopharyngeal and Hepatocellular carcinoma. 

 He is also currently the Principal Investigator of more than ten active clinical trials investigating novel treatments for a variety of cancers with the aim to develop more effective cancer treatment with less side effects for the future. He has authored over 70 scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters and has lectured extensively at regional and international medical and scientific conferences. 

 Dr Hsieh is also a part-time Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University and a Principal Associate at the Cancer Sciences Institute of Singapore of the National University of Singapore (NUS).
