Professional Statement

Dr Leong Hoe Nam was a consultant in the Department of Infectious Disease in SGH before he left to join Raffles Hospital.   He then set up his own clinic at Mount Elizabeth Hospital at Novena. He had first-hand experience in managing outbreak situations including SARS and H1N1 pandemic infection. He also treats transplant patients and individuals with multi-drug resistant organisms, tuberculosis, HIV, AIDS, surgical complications, viral infections, fungal infections and complex medical problems.

He remains a visiting consultant at the Singapore General Hospital, the National Cancer Centre Singapore, and the Dover Park Hospice Hospital.
