Professional Statement
After obtaining his medical degree from Cambridge University, UK, Dr Lim Yeong Phang joined the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, SGH in 1998. He was awarded a MOH Fellowship to train in the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA in 2005. On his return, he was appointed Senior Consultant in Singapore National Heart Centre and Visiting Consultant, KK Women and Children’s Hospital. He left for private practice in 2012.
Dr Lim has a keen interest in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery including endoscopic harvesting techniques for conduits in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting and non sternotomy Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting.
