Dr Koh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1985. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore, as well as Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 1991. He was admitted as a Fellow to the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1998 and the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh in 2003. Dr Eugene Tay is the Medical Director and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Singapore Vision Centre (SVC), a Singapore Medical Group (SMG) Clinic. He was previously a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Laser Vision Centre, Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC).

Dr Tay specialises in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, retinal disease management, laser refractive surgery including ReLEx® SMILE (Refractive Lenticular Extraction, Small Incision Lenticular Extraction), LASIK, Advanced Surface Ablation (ASA) such as LASEK, oculoplastic surgeries and general ophthalmology.

In 1997, he graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College of the University of London that has a distinguished tradition dating back to 1123. Dr Nicholas Chua was Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Singapore where he served as Head of Acute Pain Service. Dr Nicholas Chua graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and obtained his Masters of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) in Singapore. He completed his advanced specialist training in Anaesthesiology in TTSH, Singapore. Pursuing his sub-specialty interest, he completed his Fellowship of Interventional Pain Physician (FIPP) accreditation in 2007 by the World Institute of Pain (WIP) in Memphis-Tennessee, United States of America. He is a certified Diplomate with the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM) and have also undergone training and certification in Quantitative Sensory Testing (QST) for pain diagnostics in Bochum, Germany. Dr Daniel Chan Boon Yeow graduated from the National University of Singapore School of Medicine in 2000.  He was awarded a rare Honours for his MBBS. He was trained in internal medicine and obtained the MRCP (UK) in 2004. Dr Chan started medical oncology specialist training in 2005 with National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS) and became a fully qualified medical oncology specialist in 2008. In 2010, he was granted a National University Hospital Singapore Endowment Fund Award and National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Overseas Fellowship to undergo his oncology fellowship training at the renowned UCLA/ Cedars Sinai Medical Center, USA. Dr Chan is well versed in general medical oncology (breast, lung and colon cancer).  His clinical interests are in lymphoma, neuro-oncology and sarcomas. 

He then went on to spend a year in the United States of America from 2010 -2011 at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre where he further honed his medical oncology clinical expertise under a National University Hospital Singapore Endowment Fund Award and also pursued research in the laboratory of world renown haematologist-oncologist Professor Phillip Koeffler under a Medical Research Council (NMRC) Overseas Fellowship.

Upon his return, he was a consultant in medical oncology at the National University Cancer Institute Singapore and director of undergraduate education (medical oncology) at NUS till 2013. He was also actively involved in cancer research at the Cancer Science Institute Singapore. Dr Chong graduated from the National University of Singapore with the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently obtained the Master of Medicine in Orthopaedics (MMed) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted subsequently as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics). He underwent subspecialty training (HMDP) in Sports Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Before joining Island Orthopaedic Consultants, Dr Chong practised in Changi General Hospital as Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon, and the Director of Orthopaedic Sports Service, caring for patients with sports injuries.

Dr Chong was a member of the Orthopaedics Specialist Training Committee that oversees the training of all Orthopaedic surgeons in Singapore. He held office in the 2009 Executive Committee of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association, serving as Honorary Secretary. In addition, Dr Chong served as Clinical Lecturer in Yong Loo Lin Medical School, National University of Singapore. Dr Chia Yin Nin, currently is the head of the Gynae Cancer Unit , KK Women's and Children's Hospital. Dr Tan Yeh Hong is an urologist with more than 23 years of experience. He is currently the Medical Director of Centre for Urology, Robotic & Minimally Invasive Surgery.

He graduated from National University of Singapore in 1991. He subsequently underwent his advanced training in urology at Singapore General Hospital. Dr Alicia How, a senior consultant ophthalmologist and is a Ministry of Health-accredited ophthalmologist with more than 16 years of medical experience. She has a clinical interest in glaucoma. Dr Dharshini Gopalakrishnakone is experienced in antenatal ultrasound as well as performing natural childbirth, assisted delivery (vacuum and forceps) and Caesarean Sections. She has extensively trained in gynaecological surgery (hysterectomies, myomectomies, cystectomies), laparoscopic (key-hole) procedures and has a keen interest in Hysteroscopic surgeries (a non-invasive procedure to surgically treat small masses within the womb).

A pro-life advocate, Dr Dharshini firmly believes that a woman's gynaecologist should be her trusted health advocate for life as she goes through the amazing phases of puberty, pregnancy and menopause.

Professional Statement

Dr Cheng is Director of The Eye Surgery Partners. She is an eye surgeon in Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology), with a subspecialty interest in managing adults and children with vision, tearing, eyelid problems and eye tumours.

In 1998, Dr Cheng graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manchester, UK. She completed her basic and advanced training programme at the Singapore National Eye Centre and National University Hospital of Singapore. During her training had the appointment of Chief Medical Officer and Chief Registrar at the National University Hospital of Singapore. In 2004, she was accredited with the Master of Medicine (MMED) in Ophthalmology and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (MRCSEd). She was admitted to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 2008. She is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS).

Dr Cheng joined the National University Hospital of Singapore in 2008 as Associate Consultant and held a joint appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore. In 2010, Dr Cheng was awarded the Health Manpower Development Award for a one-year overseas fellowship training in oculoplastics at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital, Australia.There under the tutelage of Prof TJ Sullivan, she developed a special interest orbit and eye diseases for adults and children.

Upon her return to Singapore, Dr Cheng was promoted to Consultant. She was frequently consulted on the diagnosis and management of children and adults with vision, tearing and eyelid problems. She was also a mentor and tutor to residents at the eye department, guiding them during their clinical practice and supervising their cataract surgeries.

In 2011, Dr Cheng was appointed the Chief of the Eye service at JHS serving Alexander Hospital and Jurong Medical Centre. She led a team of doctors, nurses, and optometrist to provide quality eye care for patients.

She is also an active member of the regional Oculoplastics community speaking in several regional conferences.

She is the treasurer of the Asia Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Professional Statement

​​Dr Hsieh is specialized in the treatment of various types of cancers and is active in developing novel cancer diagnostics and molecularly targeted anti-cancer treatments. With a research interest in molecularly targeted cancer therapies, immunotherapy and molecular diagnostics, he has led a number of international studies involving many centers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, the Philippines, and the United States to examine novel treatments and diagnostic tests for Nasopharyngeal and Hepatocellular carcinoma. 

 He is also currently the Principal Investigator of more than ten active clinical trials investigating novel treatments for a variety of cancers with the aim to develop more effective cancer treatment with less side effects for the future. He has authored over 70 scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters and has lectured extensively at regional and international medical and scientific conferences. 

 Dr Hsieh is also a part-time Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University and a Principal Associate at the Cancer Sciences Institute of Singapore of the National University of Singapore (NUS).

 After studying Philosophy and Psychology at Oxford University on a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship, Dr Hsieh completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins University and Duke University.  After completion of his medical training, Dr Hsieh became active in patient care, teaching and research as a full-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine.

American physician, Dr Steven Tucker, is a medical specialist living and practicing in Singapore since 2006.

While originally trained as a cancer specialist at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences, Dr Tucker currently focuses on both adult general medicine and cancer medicine.  His practice ranges from the prevention of diseases and illness to the treatment of both acute and chronic medical problems.

Dr Tucker is also an expert in medical technology and digital health.   By studying information from multiple sources, such as personal genetics, metabolic testing, sensors and activity trackers, he helps patients develop personalized health plans that combine the elements of lifestyle medicine with those of conventional medication, as necessary.

Dr Ho Choon Kiat is an accredited consultant hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and the pancreas. He also has subspecialty expertise in surgical oncology (surgery for cancer) and advanced laparoscopic surgery (keyhole surgery).

Dr Ho has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is frequently invited to present at regional and international conferences. Professional Statement

Dr Lee Chee Wei is a general surgeon with about 10 years experience in the field. At his clinics at Mount Elizabeth Novena, Mount Elizabeth and Parkway East Hospitals, he provides specialised care for patients with vascular diseases. Patients will receive a comprehensive assessment including a Duplex scan in the clinic. Dr Lee is fully conversant in performing complex vascular operations such as open aortic repair, bypass surgery, peripheral angioplasties, endovascular repairs of the aorta and endovenous laser treatment of varicose veins.

Upon his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 1995), he underwent basic training and received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2001. He completed his Advanced Specialty Training in General Surgery in 2005. Then, through the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award, he attended a one-year fellowship programme at St Vincentʼs Hospital in Sydney, Australia where he trained in open surgical procedures as well as endovascular interventional procedures. His training there also involved an attachment to the Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory where he was trained to do duplex vascular ultrasounds and other non-invasive tests.

Prior to his move to private practice, Dr Lee was a consultant at the Department of General Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. During his tenure, he served as the Head of the Vascular Surgery Service as well as the Director of the Vascular Diagnostic Lab, where he was credited for pushing the boundaries of peripheral arterial interventions (including the use of drug-eluting balloons and stents), endovascular aortic repairs, arteriovenous fistula salvage for renal dialysis, bypass surgery (including distal bypass and trauma surgery) and minimally invasive interventions for varicose veins. He currently remains a Visiting Consultant to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Dr Lee was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, Surgery, in 2011. He also has several local and international journals to his name such as Annals of Vascular Surgery and World Journal of Surgery.

Dr Jane Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997. She obtained her postgraduate surgical qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2000, and a Masters in Medicine (Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 2001. She was certified a Specialist in General Surgery by the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore in 2005, and subsequently admitted as a Fellow to the College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine of Singapore. Since then, she has gained wide experience in minimally invasive colorectal and general surgical procedures, treatment of colorectal cancers and benign colorectal diseases, complex perianal disorders and functional bowel disorders.

Dr Tan in an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She is actively involved in the teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates.
