Dr Siow Hua Ming is an Orthopaedic Specialist and the Medical Director of Providence Orthopaedics.  His sub-specialty interests include Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery and Adult Orthopaedic Surgery.  Dr Siow is currently the only trained paediatric sports orthopaedic surgeon in Singapore.

A Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, he has served in several senior positions in the field of sports injuries & injury prevention, as well as health promotion through physical exercise.

Dr Chiam Tut Fu obtained his MBBS and Masters of Medicine (Occupational Medicine) from the National University of Singapore. He was also the year’s top student with a Masters in Sports Science (Sports Medicine) from the United States Sports Academy.

Being an accredited Specialist in Sports Medicine with Ministry of Health and Singapore Medical Council, he is also a consultant to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in Sports Medicine and had helped the SAF design the criteria for medical classification and grading.

Dr Chiam specialises in the management of musculoskeletal pain due to sports injuries or age-related degenerative and orthopaedic conditions and myofascial causes like trigger points. He uses a wide range of latest evidence-based treatment modalities in his practice like shock wave therapy, platelet rich plasma therapy and low level laser treatment. He also has a special interest in weight management and smoking cessation.

Professional Statement

Dr Patrick Goh is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at Camden Medical Centre, Singapore. He completed his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1984. He then continued for further studies in sports medicine and obtained  Masters in Sports Science (Sports Medicine) from the United States Sports Academy in 1988 where he graduated as its top student.

Dr Patrick Goh worked with the rehabilitation medicine department of Singapore General Hospital. He was also a Deputy Director (Sports Medicine) at the Singapore Sports Council's (SSC) Sports Medicine and Research Centre. He was also chief medical officer for Team Singapore for the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games, along with numerous regional and Commonwealth Games.

Dr Patrick Goh has a special interest in sports / exercise injury management, ultrasound-guided diagnosis and treatment, extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT), platelet-rich plasma (PRP) Therapy and general sports medicine.

Since leaving for private practice in 2005, he has become the first sports physician in Singapore to use Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for the treatment of sports and musculoskeletal injuries. His clinical work in this area has received international attention, resulting in invitations to speak in several countries around the world, including Switzerland, Romania, Korea and the USA.

In addition to his clinical practice, he is also co-chairman of the Sports Medicine Subspeciality Training Committee under the Ministry of Health, and was the examiner for the M (Med) Sports Medicine Advanced Speciality Training Examination in 2010. He is currently Chairman of Anti-Doping Singapore and represents Singapore on the board of the Southeast Asian Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (SEARADO). He has also a member of the Institutional Review Board of the Defense Medical and Environmental Research Institute (DMERI), and the Sports Medicine and Sports Science sub-committee of the Olympic Pathway-Programme.
